REINVENT

As a kid, I grew up around a lot of construction. My mom is an interior designer (a founding member of the Los Angeles Chapter of ASID) and some of my first memories include watching her transform dilapidated homes into beautiful, redesigned spaces.

From structural to cosmetic changes, she is a master renovator who can turn a house that nobody wants to buy — let alone live in — into a home that’s the envy of the street.

Back in the day, I rarely paid much attention to the design details but now that I just purchased a condo that is in dire need of a renovation, I find myself fascinated by the transformation process.

Escrow closed July 1st and since my mom is a woman who gets things done… and gets them done quickly… we broke ground and began the demolition process the next day.

Get ready for pictures and video of the process as my condo is redesigned and reinvented into a custom built sanctuary that I will soon call my home.
