No-Cook Protein Snacks: What I Eat Post Workout

As a girl who suffers from lots of allergies, I’ve had to say goodbye to some of my favorite protein bars because they have almonds in them.  That means, I’ve had to get creative and come up with a few of my own creations.

Here is one of my go-to protein snacks when I just want a little nugget of nourishment.  These protein-filled snacks are shaped like truffles and are great to eat on-the-go, pre or post workout.  Enjoy and let me know how they turn out!


Pitted Dates – 1 – 1/2 cup

Shredded Coconut – 6 oz (half the bag)

Organic Creamy Peanut Butter – 2 – 4 tbs

If desired: Protein and Fiber Powder – 3/4 cup

Approximate Calories per ball: 75 calories
